プラネタリウム

A science museum where you can enjoy science with experiences centered around the theme of 'Space and Energy'. The planetarium, equipped with a world-class dome with a diameter of 26.5 meters, allows you to enjoy live commentary and a realistic starry sky. The exhibition halls introduce various aspects of familiar science, such as space, the history of science, chemistry, everyday physical phenomena, electricity and energy, on each floor with different themes. In February 2022, the planetarium's all-sky projection system was renovated. The latest planetarium, which seamlessly 'embarks' from Earth to the farthest reaches of space, has been completed.

スペシャルナイト「（全国同時七夕講演会2025）『重力波観測の過去、現在、そして未来』」

日時：2025年7月26日(土)　18:00～20:00 (開場17:30)

宇宙観測に最新手法の一つが、10年前に初めて直接観測された重力波です。
アインシュタインが100年前に予測したこの波は、300近くのブラックホールや中性子星の二重星合体を捉えました。
未知の宇宙の姿を明らかにする可能性を秘めている今後の重力波観測について大阪公立大学の神田教授に講演いただきます。

Exhibition Hall

We introduce topics such as space, electricity, meteorology, and the history of science, as well as various materials. You can enjoy learning about science through hands-on experimental equipment and real materials collected by curators.
