● About Purchasing Tickets
* You cannot purchase free tickets alone on the ticketing website. Please purchase them together with a paid ticket.
If you hold a disability certificate or similar document, are a resident of Osaka City aged 65 or older, are a high school or college student, or are a member of the Friends Association, please bring your certificate, proof of eligibility, student ID, membership card, etc., with you, as we will verify these at the ticket gate on the day of your visit.
If you forget to bring these documents, you will be required to pay the admission fee for the applicable category.
* If you wish to obtain a free ticket only, please bring your disability certificate, proof of eligibility, or other relevant documentation and visit the ticket counter on the day of your visit.
Please note that free admission is limited to once per day. Subsequent visits will require payment.
* The planetarium has a seating capacity of 250. Tickets cannot be issued if the planetarium is sold out.
* Tickets can be purchased from 7 days prior to your visit through the day of your visit.
Tickets for the planetarium are sold until one hour before the show starts (sales end once the planetarium is full); tickets for the exhibition hall are sold until 4:00 PM.
We limit the number of tickets sold online. Even if “Seat Availability” on our website shows seats remaining, you may not be able to purchase a ticket.
* No ticket is required for children aged 2 and under. For safety reasons, please have them sit on a guardian’s lap during the show.
(If a child aged 2 or under will be using a seat, please purchase a ticket.)
★If you plan to visit the exhibition hall and attend the planetarium multiple times in one day, please first select the “◇Planetarium & Exhibition Hall” button and choose your visit date and the time for your first planetarium show. This will allow you to purchase one planetarium show and admission to the exhibition hall. To select an additional showtime for the planetarium other than the one you selected above, please return to the top of the page, select the “● Planetarium” button, and choose your visit date and the additional planetarium showtime.
● Payment Information
* Payment is accepted only via credit card (VISA, MasterCard, JCB, American Express, Diners Club) in a single lump-sum payment.
* You may cancel your reservation yourself up until 8:55 a.m. on the day of your visit.
Please note that cancellations, changes, and refunds are not possible after that time.
★ If you require a receipt for your online ticket, please ask for one at the museum ticket counter on the day of your visit.
●Important Notice
*Once the show begins, the planetarium dome will be completely dark.
For your safety and to avoid disturbing other guests, we cannot allow anyone to enter the dome once the show has started.
Please arrive at the venue well in advance.
* Even the slightest light inside the planetarium dome will obscure the view of the stars. Before the show begins, please be sure to turn off your smartphones, cell phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices that emit light, or place them in your bag so they do not emit any light.
* For safety reasons, children in third grade or younger are not permitted to enter or view the show unaccompanied.
Please be sure to purchase tickets with an adult guardian present.
* Sound echoes very strongly inside the planetarium dome.
Please note that during general screenings, if you are unable to watch quietly, you will be asked to leave the dome.
Please be aware that if you are asked to leave, your admission ticket cannot be refunded or exchanged.
* “Family Time” is a program designed for young children (from preschool age through early elementary school) and their guardians.
Please be aware that laughter and conversation may be heard during the show.
* Groups may be present during any screening.
☆ If you purchase a combined planetarium and exhibition hall ticket for the 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM planetarium show, please note that arriving just before the screening begins will prevent you from visiting the exhibition hall (admission to the exhibition hall closes at 4:30 PM; the hall closes at 5:00 PM). Please be aware of this.
